The idea of creating a FabLab in Auray was born in 2014 under the impetus of five friends, Patrick Jullien, race boat worker, Benjamin Muyl, naval architect, Stéphanie Fiévé, architect, Arnaud Schweitzer, project manager and Valérie Jullien, skipper.
Everyone brought a stone to the initiative in order to set up the association which was created in July 2015.
Transdisciplinary people around from different age and gender are involving in our community. Also we have 2 FabLab Managers that help the us to make our open workshop works (almost) everyday
We have quite a lot of support from different organisation either public or private. But also we are getting more and more self-efficient having a good balance between : - Public support - Services - Open call
